LABS
               Our school consists of 3 labs :
1 : Computer lab
2   ; Physics lab
3   : Bio lab

All labs are occupied with latest instruments , that help the students in their academics .
Keeping in view the importance of computer technology we have bought enough top of the line computers to provide chance to our kids to keep pace with the time for that we have two computer labs .

TRANSPORT :

The school maintains a fleet of five M.T vehicles to pick and drop the kids on very reasonable rates . Special consideration is given to the nursery kids . They don't have to wait for the last school bell , they are sent home as they are free .

CANTEEN :

The school canteen operates during school hours . It offers hot / cold snacks and cold drinks .
The canteen offers a good quality food stuff . It is run by the college management .
School is running it's own tuck shop , providing stationery and uniforms on reasonable charges .

sports : Sports activities along with the academics play important role in grooming the personality of the kids. therefore all sports and games are compulsory . A qualififed ex army P.T.I is recruited . especially playthings such as swings , slides , beams and bars have been custom made for kids to play and relax in free periods .

K.I.S.C is the only school in Chakwal that has a tennis court . along with a basketball court and a cricket ground .it also has a badminton court . Sports is highly promoted in this school for the healthy development of children .

SCHOOL HALL :

We have a hall where we arrange debates , speeches and spelling quiz to help students expand their intellectual horizon. and increase their confidence

LIBRARY:

It is a fit place for close and careful study. Here, there is no disturbance and everybody can read with rapt attention.
The library helps a good deal in spreading knowledge and education.  Students can derive benefit from these books by consulting them in the library. They can acquire extra knowledge .

Ms. SABA MUGHAL can assist me in the academics where as MADAM MUGHAL is responsible for the teachers , parents coordination and day to day discipline problems . INTRODUCTION

INTRODUCTION :
This school is named after KHURSHID AHMED MUGHAL who is the elder son of PROF MEHR KHAN MUGHAL . KHURSHID MUGHAL is A SOFTWARE ARCHITECT AND IS the CEO of SEQUEL SYSTEMS . He currently lives in Dallas , Texas . HE is managing his company in NEW YORK , DALLAS AND ISLAMABAD . There are about 250 people working under him .

KHURSHID INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL & COLLEGE CHAKWAL :
KHURSHID INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL & AND CHAKWAL was inaugurated on Sunday 29th March 1998 .

Normally, the private schools in Pakistan first open in rented buildings , but they can never be suitable in real terms to achieve the purpose of complete school .

Chakwal is the district headquarters with sufficient population representing all walks of life , in general but defence forces in particular. This area has produced a great number of high ranking officials both civil and military. People in the private sectors either couldnot afford or did not afford or did not feel the difference between quality education and vice versa , as most of them being either innocent or to some extent deprived of good schooling themselves .

ABOUT PRINCIPAL

Lecturer of English (1969-1975)

Prof. Mehr Khan Mughal - 2016

Prof. Mehr Khan Mughal was lecturer of English Language at Cadet College Petaro from 1969-1975.He is master in English language from Punjab university 1968 and have teaching diploma from UK .

He was born on 2 June 1941, and got married to Mrs. Arshaad Sikander on 11 August 1961. They have four children - Khurshid ( ceo of sequel sytems),Maqsood (now a Lt.Col), Anjum (retired as Major) and Saba ( vice principal of khurshid international school and college).

Prof. Mughal belongs to Chakwal in the Punjab.

MR MUGHAL remembers his stay at Petaro with great fondness. During that period, he was very active in sports and club activities. He was the Associate Sports Officer along with Mr. A.A. Faruqui (who was the Sports Officer). He looked after Athletics and other sports. He was the Patron of the Philatelic Society from 1969-1970, and assisted with the English Debating Society. He was also the Associate House Master of Liaquat House from 1973 to 1975.

His love for sports is such that he keeps up with it even to this day. He plays tennis daily, and keeps his racket always in his car.

While he was at Petaro, Mr. Mughal went on a deputation on behalf of the Ministry of Education to Algiers (in Algeria) from 1970 to 1973. He was teaching English there as well.

In 1975, he got another opportunity to go on deputation to Tanzania. However, Cadet College Petaro did not agree to let him go on deputation. So he had to resign and proceed to Daressalam in Tanzania where he stayed until 1979.

In 1980, he got a job with the Ministry of Education in at Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman. He taught English at various schools there for a period of 16 years, i.e. until 1996 when he opted to return home with the intention to set up his own school in his hometown Chakwal.

It took him two years to buy the land and mobilize the set up of the new institution. Named after his eldest son (who is also a Petarian), the school is called Khurshid International School. It opened its doors in 1998.

Over these few years, it has become a very famous school in the area. It has over 900 students. The boys section has classes up to Intermediate, while the girls section has become a degree college. This is a great achievement indeed.

His wife and daughter Saba are involved in the management of the school full time.

MR MUGHAL is also the Chairman of the Public Safety Commission of Chakwal and keeps himself active in civic duties of the area as well.

His eldest son Khurshid is a successful businessman in the USA, and is the owner and CEO of Sequel Systems, Inc.

Out of his love for Petaro , MR Mughal visited the college at the time of the First Convention of Petarians in 2004 as well as the Golden Jubilee Celebrations in 2007.
